JUMMA PRAYERS LED BY: Imam Ibrahim Rahim
Khutbah will begin at 1:30 pm. This week Imam Ibrahim Rahim, from Lighthouse Mosque, will be our khatib. Please listen and following the directions of our volunteers when parking. All unmarked parking spots are not available for our use. Please review the jummah parking map here. 

SRVIC'S ISLAMIC SCHOOL REGISTRATION - NOW OPEN
Registration will close May 21st or once spaces are taken
Registration is now open for new and existing students. Space is now available only on a first-come, first-serve basis and registration will close once all spaces are take. To register please login here. Registration is online only, no checks will be accepted. If you experience any issues with registration please email schooladmin@srvic.org.

YOUTH EVENT - GAME NIGHT
Fri May 12, 6pm-8pm at SRVIC
For boys & girls ages 7-14
Event is free of charge. Food will be provided (for children with food allergies, please contact Br. Yassine at the link below asap). Please register here
 
ANNUAL LETTER CARRIER'S FOOD DRIVE - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED -  
Sat May 13 
2pm-7pm at Danville Post Office 
3:30pm-7:00pm at San Ramon Post Office 
We'd like to encourage everyone to help in this very noble cause of ensuring all of our neighbors have food on their tables. 
You can help in the following ways: 
1) Volunteer at the post offices to help load the donated food. Volunteers must be 10 yrs old and this opportunity can count towards any school requirements you may have. Please email info@srvic.org if you are interested.
2) Donate food by simply place non-perishable food items in bags by your mailbox on May 13th and the Letter Carrier will pick it up during their routes.

SRVIC OPEN HOUSE
Sat May 13, 10am-1:30pm at SRVIC
Have you ever thought about introducing your non Muslim neighbor, friend or associate to who the Muslims are and what Islam is about? This is your chance. Bring them in to our Open House where they can get to know us, ask questions, watch short lectures, get free literature and try our food.
Program offered by the "Outreach & Interfaith Committee of SRVIC", where volunteers are always welcome. 

FAMILY NIGHT WITH IMAM ZAID SHAKIR
Fri May 19th, 7pm at SRVIC
Join us as Imam Zaid Shakir speaks to us about how to get the most out of Ramadan. Dinner will be served. Please RSVP here so we can plan for the event accordingly.

EID SWAP MEET
Sat May 20th, 11am-4pm at SRVIC
Join us for our first annual Eid Swap Meet. Find new or gently used clothing, shoes & accessories as well as decorative home items. For more information, please visit here.

RAMADAN WITH CURIOUS GEORGE
Sat May 13th, 1:30pm-4:30pm at MCC
For boys & girls ages 4-14 yrs ($25/child - pizza & book included)
Hena Khan, a prolific auther of Muslim children's books including "It's Ramadan, Curious George", will read her stories along with an appearance from Curious George. For more information and to register please visit here.

TAYBA FOUNDATION BENEFIT DINNER: In Search of Freedom - Social Justice in a time of Inequality & Mass Incarceration

Come out and do a small picnic with your non-Muslim neighbors. It is chance to discuss your religion among other issues with non muslims, building relationships within our community as Allah required us to: "O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know and learn from one another..." 49:13.
