About University Islamic Financial Corporation (UIF) UIF is one of the premier Islamic Banking companies in the US. In operation since 2003… UIF offers both Home and Commercial Financing to the Muslim Community. In many cases UIF’s pricing is less expensive than even conventional lenders because they are partly owned by University Bank, a Community Bank based in Ann Arbor, MI. The financing transaction takes place under the Murabaha (Installment Sale) or Ijara (Lease to Own) structure both of which are approved by some of the top Islamic Scholars in the world. UIF specializes in “low down payment” programs and treats each customer with the highest level of integrity, honesty and courtesy. You no longer have to compromise your religious beliefs to save money. For more information you can visit the company website:www.myuif.com or contact Aijaz Hussain, Vice President National Sales at ahussain@myuif.com

About Amana Funds The Amana Funds invest according to Islamic principles. Generally, these principles require that investors avoid interest (riba) and investments in businesses such as liquor, pornography, gambling, and banks. The Funds avoid bonds and other interst-bearing securities while seeking protection against inflation by making long-term equity investments. Of course, no mutual fund can guarantee that it will achieve its objectives. More information at http://www.amanafunds.com

Parking Instructions for Jumma
As one of the primary conditions of our larger capacity use permit, we must be vigilant about parking in the city approved parking spaces. Take a look at the map which highlights the approved locations for jummah parking.

All of the areas marked by vertical stripes are approved for our usage. In general avoid parking directly in front of our neighbors’ entrances. Also please allow the elderly & those with younger children to take advantage of the spaces closest to SRVIC.

We really need the entire community’s cooperation to ensure we are not burdens on our neighbors & in ensuring no issues with our use permit. Thank you for your help in advance

Parking Reminder for Jumma

We would like to send out a quick reminder for everyone who is attending Jumma prayers in San Ramon today to follow the list below related to coming and leaving Jumma today. We only had one incident where there was a backup of cars turning on to Camino Ramon and we want to make sure this doesn’t occur.

Here is what we are requesting everyone to do:

1. Coming to SRVIC for Friday prayers:
DO NOT use Northbound Camino Ramon to make a left turn into the Office Park
Use rear entrance from Crow Canyon Place or use Southbound Camino Ramon to make a right turn into the Office Park
Carpool as much as possible to reduce the number of cars

2. Parking during Friday prayers:
If you are not carpooling then DO NOT park close to the Center
Park close to (Canyon Place) the back entrance of the Office Park. Since most of the available parking spaces are there

3. Leaving SRVIC after Friday prayers:
DO NOT make a left turn on Camino Ramon
Use rear exit (Crow Canyon Place) or turn right on Southbound Camino Ramon
