San Ramon Valley Islamic Center
Islamic School
Salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu
On behalf of the entire SRVIC Islamic School, staff, administration we extend Ramadan greetings to all of our dear friends in the community.
Insha’Allah during this holy month, it is critical for us to remind ourselves of the teachings of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) and reflect deeply on the blessings that Allah has showered upon us. As we all know, Ramadan is time for physical, emotional and spiritual cleansing and healing. It is a time for us to draw near to Allah and to His Messenger and to re-connect with the Qu’ran, through recitation and listening to its recitation. May this time be made easy for the Ummah in its entirety, may our prayers, our fasting and our Zakat and Sadaqa (charity) and all of our good deeds be accepted and may they all be done for the pleasure of Allah.
As the school year draws near and we enter into our 23rd academic year, I along with my teaching & office staff would like to thank each one of you for your support. It is only through the grace and blessings of Allah and His Beloved (peace be upon him) that SRVIC has been able to serve our community for the past 22 years. Insha’Allah all of this will be accepted and this will prove to be a proof for us and our efforts will continue to serve the community for generations to come. It is our honor and pleasure to serve you and I pray that we will take full advantage of this month and enjoy these precious days in the remembrance of Allah. It is a Devine promise that all of our good deeds are multiplied, and we should strive to increase the angelic light that resides with each of us.
