Dear Community,
Assalaam-o-Alaikum,

Once again we are in the middle of the holy month of Ramadan. We like to wish you and your family the many blessings this holy month brings. SRVIC appreciates your continued support very much, and we pray that all your good deeds will bring you multiple hasanat. (Ameen)

As you know, SRVIC every year asks our community to help us in deferring the cost of Ramadan expense. Therefore, once again we humbly ask you to donate a minimum of $100.00 per family towards Ramadan expense. You can hand the check to any board member or drop it off at the center in the designated collection box. Please make sure to write "Ramadan Expense" on your check.
May Allah (SWT) accept your fasts, prayers and your charity in this blessed month. (Ameen)

JazakAllahu Khairun,

SRVIC Board Members

Jumma Timing Change
Aug 18, 2010 at 01:21 PM

As mentioned last Friday, the timings for Jumma are changing starting this week (August 20th). The new timings are as follows:

1st Jumma: (Masjid - 2232 Camino Ramon):

1:15pm - 1st Adhan
1:20pm - Khutbah
1:45pm - Salat

2nd Jumma (Canyon View Hall - 680 Bollinger Canyon Way):

1:25pm - 1st Adhan
1:30pm - Khutbah
1:45pm - Salat

We continue to enforce capacity limits at the Masjid to ensure we are in compliance with Fire Marshall Code. This means that once we reach capacity, we are forced to close the doors and not allow anyone else to enter (even when the Salat begins). As is typical during Ramadan, we are blessed with large crowds, but this also means the Masjid fills up very quickly. Please plan accordingly so that you do not miss your Jumma. We have plenty of space at Canyon View Hall and there is no risk of you missing your Jumma Prayers due to capacity there.

JazakAllah Khair for your help and understanding.

We wish everyone a blessed Ramadan.
